No, this is the natural progression of Babs when writer after writer fails to understand just how mind bogglingly awesome someone like Alec Hardison is. This isn't Silver Age junk, this is "Technology is scary, why would anyone want to work from a computer all day?" "Because they're mean shut-ins." "You're right!" that's plagued Babs for over five years now.

Seriously. Start from Batgirl #2 and read backwards through everything Oracle's been in until you hit 2000 or so; you'll be amazed as you watch her grow from an incompetent shrew into one of the most well-liked, competent members of the JLA.

	The stupid mini-series doesn't pop into existence by itself. There's been a systematic deconstruction of Babs' abilities over the last few years. I'm just saying, all those times everyone else said, "Yay, Birds of Prey!" and I said, "Seriously, guys?" this is what I was talking about. (Reply to this) (Parent)
