Amazing Spider-man 605 preview.

It seems that Aunt May is pissed off at Aunt May for something. well lets see what next week issue has in store for that. Here's the 2 pics in the cut and the rest of the preview. http://www.newsarama.com/php/multimedia/album.php?aid=30668

this cover, man I was hoping never to see Bobby Carr again. that paparazzi story pissed me off and that Mj's part. oh yeah, why does Pete look like seth green in that cover, his face atleast. Atleast Mj looks in this cover and the last cover by Yu.

Is Pete the beardy one? Because the beardy one said Seth Green to me.

I actually sort of am bemused by this cover even though I don't quite get it. It took me awhile to realize that one of the guys in the bubbles actually is Peter, and not just one of his potential love interests. (Who include... MJ, Storm, Harry, and some strangely literal and misplaced interpretation of Jessica Rabbit?)

I am feeling like Peter and Harry are TRYING to intimidate me. With their smug eyebrows.

I DONT LIKE IT.

Aw, forgive him, he's in a spooky castle and has just seen his workmates slaughtered. Does Peter have the same excuse??

No!

That doesn't look like someone trapped in a castle and seeing his enemies slaughtered. I expect someone like that to act like Johnathan Harker and starts sweating profously while scribbling down every sordid detail of everything he sees even though it might get him into trouble.

It's not nearly as bad as the "Civil War" issue of Amazing Spider-Man which showed Spidey unmasking, and the artist had clearly drawn DANE COOK as Peter's facial double.

The fact that Quesada's Marvel are fans of Dane Cook, much less that they see him as a good choice to play Peter, told me everything I needed to know about how utterly wrong-headed their view of the character was.

If you like Dane Cook, I consider your tastes to be literally SUBHUMAN. He and Carlos Mencia are to original comedy what the Obama "birthers" are to intelligent political discourse.

I don't know who Dane Cook is, but I have seen Carlos Mencia on South Park so I feel I can perhaps understand. Unfortunately.

How to be Dane Cook:

1. Emulate the personality of every entitled, know-nothing wannabe-fratboy that anyone with a brain wants to punch in the face instantly after meeting them.

2. Steal all of your best material from Louis C.K.

3. Make it "funnier" by SHOUTING ALL YOUR WORDS REALLY LOUD.

4. ???

5. PROFIT!!! (Which, unfortunately, he has done.)

Dane Cook is one of many proofs that a) God does exist, and b) he's an evil bastard who hates us all and wants to see us suffer.

Comedy Central keeps replaying his special. :( Sometimes I am too busy/lazy to turn off the tv cuz I leave it on for background noise. Just imagine someone who won't stop talking about dicksucking and how a girl really can't jack him as well as he himself, blah blah blah...

Dane Cook has 'best' material? Surely, nothing he does is any better or worse than any other line that drops from his useless mouth. Saying this or that is 'best' with Dane Cook is very much like saying oatmeal paste is better than a paste made from oatmeal. At some point distinctions lose meaning. I'm just sayin'
