The way to go about this is to round up a bunch of low income, but otherwise healthy guys with large families. Explain to them that they themselves will get more money than they can comprehend for their families if they come to work for you. Explain that they themselves are not likely to live very long in your employ, but! Their families will be financially secure for the rest of their lives. If they refuse to work for you, fine. You can then ignore them or crush them as is your wont. But if they agree, you make damn sure you keep your word and also do your best to make sure their families understand who they should be grateful to, so no one tries to take out a blood oath of vengeance on you. Because if something like that happens, all bets are off.
