AMAZING #408: Spider-Man vs. Armada
Upon the request of [info]psychop_rex, here are a few pages that show Armada, a spider-villain that fell by the wayside.
This is from AMAZING #408, and features the Ben Reilly Spider-Man in a costume I always kind of liked.

Armada is fighting Spider-Man (Ben Reilly) under orders from Mysterio, who is launching his own television channel.

He doesn't like ER? Wow, Armada *must* be crazy!

I don't get why the blasts from Armada's drones (which he calls "Mary" and "Anita") aren't scorching Ben's costume. Oh, well.

The kid, Shakim Panzos, was rescued by Spider-Man earlier, explaining why he's deciding to "help."

The cracks are really special lenses secretly placed over them to confuse him. Aside from the movies, I don't think Spider-Man's mask lenses EVER get cracked, even though they are made of glass and/or plastic.

And here's where Ben realizes Mysterio put special lenses over his mask. Also, he warns the gang-member to leave Shakim alone.

For a time after the Clone Saga ended (but before Gathering of Five) Peter used Ben's impact webbing.
