It's a holiday weekend and that means.... Batman and Sons!!
As part of her ongoing campaign to make us all dead of cute, the Black Cat has put together something for a distinctly American Holiday (both in name and spelling) Labor Day. (We just call it the late Summer Bank Holiday)

Enjoy!

Terry being a taskmaster from his little seat is adorable.

Hitman is the school coach? Surely he's not nearly psychotic enough. (I love the notations on his clipboard, which are probably pretty true to life for many coaches)

And I love Kyle being... Kyle.

Oh, and according to The Black Cat, the kids behind Coach at the end are, Mia/Speedy, Todd/Obsidian, Grant/Damage, Koryak (Aquaman's son) and Connor/Green Arrow.

Icons and the like here and here

Am I alone in hearing that "I break easy, sir" bit in the voice of Marcie from Peanuts? :)

The first one makes me kinda sad. I don't like that Bats is breaking all child labour laws known to mankind, and I don't like that he doesn't let them have their playtime. Nut for a father indeed. I don't think Bruce is really like that with his kids in canon, because I don't see how they can love him the way they do if he is.

That said, I love how Timmy is the one who's NOT in pool but all in gear and being a little trooper at Bats' heels. He's the one who's always gone that extra mile for his approval and attention. And among the Bat-kids that really saying something. This is why he's my favourite Robin. Poor baby. *cuddles him*

The second one: SQUEE! Hitman doodling boobies on his clipboard. All the other superhero kids being afraid of tough!Jason. WEE!KYLE IN SCUBA GEAR AND AN ALLIGATOR FLOATIE OMG!

These are soooo friggin' adorable, IDEK.

Oh god, I love these. Love Jason in the spotlight, needing to "rar!" as he does everything.

But the first one cracked me up. First because I love when Dick and Jason hang out in this comic, and it's refreshing to see their skinny little boy bodies (in the real comics they'd both look like body builders at this age). But that last image is my favorite. Batman does indeed look like a complete nut. Their stances as they run suit all of them perfectly.

I did wonder what job Dick was referring to when he talked about the work they'd do one day. I thought "You'll be fighting crime every single day, won't you?" And then Bruce showed up.

Yay! Like holidays aren't enough fun without Black Cat pushing the envelope.

With hard work an' a nut for a father, there are no limits, heh.

Heh, Terry talks big, but his turn is coming. I remember a lot of friction between Bruce and teenage Terry. "You scratch it, no allowance."

I get the fixation people have with the boobies. They're optional to me -- kind of like gravy. Where's the love for the booty? The right person bends over and I forget my name. A little something for your TMI file, but c'mon, BC, mix it up a little when you show how pervy guys are.
