Psylocke's Adventure with the X-Club!!!
Well, you may be wondering what has become of Psylocke since the Sisterhood Of Porn Faced Copyright Infringement Tracing WTFness that was the Sisterhood of Mutants event in Uncanny X-Men. Well, Betts is back, and better than ever.

In Dark Avengers #8, Cyclops has sent Psylocke, Kavita Rao, Madison Jefferies, and (Dr Nemesis?) to to install a number of devices on a huge piece of rock under the sea.

Also, here is the cover to an upcoming Psylocke comic book. The cover is by Greg Laaaaaaaand David Finch
Something about this image bothers me, but I don't know what...

Maybe it's just me, but the images aren't loading.

It would seem that the images are blocked from hot-linking, but if you drag the red X's to the address bar it'll load them then hit back and they can be displayed from your cache.

Despite my numerous complaints about this title, I have to say that every time I'm reminded that there's a science character called "Dr. Nemesis" out there, I smile inside.

Your images aren#'t coming through

Here they are

The HTML to link them would be like this, but with < replacing [ and > replacing ]

[img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_vmizTggXAos/Spaw10XIE0I/AAAAAAAAA6g/bfvI9PKqYtI/s1600/DarkAvengers08-01.png" /]

Still red-xing. And when I clicked on the links, they gave me "not found".

Well that's odd, they show up fine for me. Is your firewall set to block blogspot links?

The first image shows up fine for me after I cut-and-pasted the URL directly, but neither of the others do. It may be a problem with the .png format, which sometimes doesn't play nicely with HTML.

Uh, huh?

There's nothing wrong with the PNG format, assuming you're not using IE6. (And if you are, please for the love of God, upgrade!)

Mostly likely the web server is looking for an authentication cookie before displaying the images-- i.e. you have to be logged-on to Blogspot to see them. It might also be checking referrers-- i.e. the site trying to load the images needs to be Blogspot. Or the URLs could be caching URLs-- i.e. the URLs are only temporary and not guaranteed to work permanently.

The image format isn't the problem, in any case.

I'm very much a layman, and have noticed in the past that .png and blogs/livejournals sometimes don't get along. If you know more on the subject than I do, which is almost certain, then I yield the point.

Why is it tagged as Uncanny X-men, when this is all Dark Avengers?

I realize that you've already had a few people commenting trying to help out, but if I may offer some tips: if you go to our posting guidelines, you'll find you can copy and paste the HTML code for posting images (as well as the ever-important LJ-cut).

I suspect the problem here may lie in where your images are hosted. You can easily upload and have your images hosted on sites like tinypic and the like. After you upload an image there, it'll give you the HTML code or you can use the direct link and code it yourself.

Blogger is very, very anal about hotlinking images. If the domain isn't one that's approved by them, then you can't hotlink or use them in posts or pages.

It would be better to host them elsewhere (not to mention a quick conversion to JPEG, since the PNGs are kinda bloated.)

I wasn't even aware Blogger had much in the way of image hosting, other than if you are posting images to a blog.

The images are fine at this point for me. :) Of course, those first pages have been posted already. Ah well.

BUT NOT THE COVER!

The art is okay. But I am so sick of Psylocke dressing like an Elektra clone.
