So based on my previous post about the Taskmaster, and weather or not it's smart to know when to cut and run/ discretion is the bet part or valor ...

I bring you 4 pages form Avengers : Initiative.

So just as there are wanna-be heroes there are wanna-be villains

When you claim to fame is you "fought" Dazzler (Disco era Dazzler) your pretty lame.

This wanna-be, "Johnny Rock and Roll", gets recruited into the Initiative Black ops team to retake 42 from Blasatar. He shows up early for a briefing and finds out all is NOT well.

Realizing that he was failed his entire life , he chooses to go anyways in the hopes that his benefits form the Gov. will help his estranged daughter.

It all ends just as predicted...

I thought this was a great little story !

	I loved this issue. In one story I cared about Johnny Guitar and his death was better then The Wasp's for example. It was bittersweet and well-written. "That's power of rock 'n' roll" I love the Huey Lewis nod. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Yeah, I actually remember those guys from the Dazzler comic, and I'd be surprised to hear if they'd appeared at all in the 27 years since then. They weren't even relevant enough to be killed by the Scourge of the Underworld. This is a way better sendoff than I could have imagined for either of them. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Yeah, I remember them from back in the day. They had a cool name. Frankly, Dazzler was pretty badass back then, more so than she's shown lately. She beat the tar outa Rogue remember. (Reply to this) (Parent)
