Starman:what's that on your shirt?
This is one of my favorite scenes from Starman, it's not a particular fan favorite like the grand finale or maybe the talks with David, but still this is one my favorite scenes in it because to me this really defines the relationship between both men,Ted and Jack Knight and shows how Jack will grow as a character through out the series.

This is the turning point in the relationship for Ted and Jack because for most of the beginning Jack could be a bit of a snot when it came to what and who his Dad was a superhero, the fact that Jack is now a superhero contrasts him to his father but it also points out how similar they are. Before this Jack killed the son of the mist in battle and the guilt from the event becomes a minor theme throughout. I also like this scene because in comics you typically see people wear shirts that have a hero or a villain on them, but in their own universes wouldn't that be like putting say Charles Manson on a shirt? I mean the Joker is real in the DC universe imagine what it must be like for the victims to see that face on a t-shirt.
