Real Men of Genius Week - Floyd Lawton
Scans_Daily presents, Real Men of Genius week.
(***with nods to previous posters***)

Real Men of Genius......

Today, we salute you, Deadshot.

Mr. I'll-try-anything-guy!

You are confronted by THE six foot tall amazonian goddess,
Giggity giggity GOOOOOO!

She promises to make sure you never die from testicular cancer if you fire your gun at her.
*chorus* Tie me up with your lasso!!!

And where other men would sag away and falter, you decide to pop your load.

Happiness is a warm GUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!

So crack open a can of butt kick and pop a cap in that ass,
Because you may not always kill what you aim for, you hit all the marks with us.

Mr. Secret-Six_sharpshooter-guy!

*edit* For our international friends, here is a sample, so you can sing along.

Just to be nitpicky, he can only become a castrati if she travels back in time and does it before he enters puberty.

Sounds like a rejected silver age plot.

Actually he can only become a castrato if she does that, castrati is the plural.

No, she was saying that not only shall she remove his balls but divide him into many ball-less parts.

Hey, she'll break a dude's neck just for looking too much like Sam Neill. I wouldn't fuck with her...

Castrati as in "one of the" - she's got a special choir of castrati who shot at her. So far, they've only publicly performed once: at Max Lord's funeral.

True story.

The usual.

Deadshot says something inappropriate.

Why not? Scandal punches Deadshot when she hasn't seen him for a while, because she knows he's done something to deserve it.

And that was the end of Deadshot. You've thought he would have known better than to cross the only member of the Justice League who had ever been on trial for murder.*

*Okay, not really, but still. It sort of counts.

Superman was put on trial by an intergalactic tribunal thing (at the Cyborg Superman's behest) for the destruction of Coast City, and it took Steel, Supergirl, Superboy, and the Alpha Centurion (Remember him? Anyone? Bueller?) to get him off.

Bruce Wayne (rather than Batman) was tried for the murder of Silver St. Cloud.

Green Lantern John Stewart was tried for the murder of Star Sapphire after she murdered his wife.

There are probably more but I can't think of any offhand.

Wait - Silver St. Cloud was MURDERED?! Aw, man, that sucks! She was the only one of Batman's girlfriends who was worth a damn, not counting Catwoman.

No, sorry, magus_69 was right, it was Vesper Fairchild. Silver's probably still around (and might by the other reporter lady I thought Vesper was).

Right! Vesper Fairchild. I thought I might have been her, but then I thought Vesper was the other reporter lady who's been around recently. Because I couldn't take the three seconds to check on Wikipedia. *facepalm*

I wouldn't think that a bunch of guys yelling "WAZZZZZUP!" at each other (truly, one of the most irritating memes ever) would have been a sure-fire commercial hit, but there you go.

That's a point - these things tend to go more by memorability than by actual logic. Also, the dedicated customers of Budweiser are probably too busy scarfing down potato chips and yelling at the TV to get back to the football game in between prolonged belches to care about the commercial, anyway.
