No, but threesomes being commonly talked about and more openly acknowledged are developments of the post-WWII era, I'd argue.

Zinda's response to being told that Creote is gay was, "He's a fancy?!" She doesn't strike me as being bigoted, but being aware of different forms of sexual expression does not equate to being totally comfortable with participating in a threesome of any gender combination.
