I like Hal. I really do. Got no problems with Geoff Johns writing of him. Hey, not enough hero-worship for me! And I've been cheerleading for a UST type one-off meeting between Lady Blackhawk and Hal--they're perfect for it, he would totally keep a poster of her.

But I find this painful. It screams awkward male bonding through a not very well told sex story. Then the silly build-up. PLEASE! Less is more. And I had to physically pull myself out of the story for a mental smack at that last line. Bad phrasing, bad scene focus!

If he wasn't involved with Cowgirl, I could totally see Hal and Lady B. They are two similar types (and heck since Zero Hour is the reason Zinda time-warped, Hal is the reason she's in the 21st Century anyway). But adding Huntress? No. Just no. That's not something Helena would do at this point. The scene smells of locker room humor anyway - whatever happened to "JUSTICE!"
