Justice Society of America #29

Continuing from when the preview left off...

The All-American Kid gets possessed by something.

Disappointing; I was mainly interested in how Willingham would write Obsidian, and he spends the first issue as a black egg. :/

Willingham DID create The Elementals, who are basically necromantic supernatural beings who were the good guys, as well as the Rapture, a pseudo-Jimmy Swaggart organised group of fundamentalist religious right type folks (named for Bible verses describing their powers; Genesis 6:4, Exodus 10:21, Judges 15:14, Leviticus 26:22, Matthew 27:51 and Isaiah 6:2) who were the bad guys (Pretty much)

Guessing.... A giant; darkness creator; Hmmm...fire generator or disintegrator, I'd guess; animal control?; earth controller/seismic generator; multi-winged flier.

But...yeah...Right Wing and Religious don't necessarily go together. One of the most aggressively, obnoxiously atheistic people I know is also one of the most aggressively, obnoxiously right wing. I've always wondered how he reconciled is slavish support of the vocally religious Bush and his contempt for the intelligence of the religious, but I try to avoid interacting with him, so I'll never know.

No, but you don't find many left wing fundamentalists, do you?
