	Several artists have been drawing Nightwing as being a teenager, or a young adult. Chris must've gotten MUCH older somehow. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Given they managed to use the excuse of the dodgy time in the Phantom Zone to explain Zod and Ursa actually conceiving Chris (because otherwise, they never age) - then the dodgy time in the Phantom Zone is probably the reason he's older. Given Zod made the effort to destroy the Zone (and presumably contain whatever was inside it that he was so afraid of), that could've made the time problems even more screwy.

Yeah. During the much-delayed 'Last Sons' arc that Johns kicked off his run on Action with, Zod sends Supes into the Phantom Zone at one point, but not before declaring something along the lines of 'Kal-El is not the last son of Krypton - MY son is,' in direct reference to Chris. Before that, Clark and Lois had adopted him as their own, only for him to disappear into the Phantom Zone along with Zod and Ursa at the story's end.
