He's not a "normal" Kryptonian as he was born in the Phantom Zone, so it's quite possible he got a modified power set as a result of that, perhaps as a result of whatever reason his aging accelareted.

Then again, Kon only got TTK because of his Kryptonian genes, so it's possible that NOT all Kryptonians would get EXACTLY the same powers on Earth, TTK might be a power a significant proportion of Kryptonians would have developed if they'd come to Earth.

Or if you're querying using Kon's acronym, maybe Tim, Clark or Lois mentioned that Kon always called his power that (when explaining that Kon and Kal's powers were different) and it stuck in his mind.

I was hoping for Kon, but Chris is cool too. Plus we know that Kon will be back during Blackest Night anyways, so we get both. Do we need two Nightwing tags now? A char: nightwing/chris kent and a char: nightwing/dick grayson? Because Dick should be getting the cowl soon (though we all know that won't last forever)

And Thara/Flamebird is that girl from New Krypton right? Kara's friend who was in charge of security?

I assume this takes Thara out of the running for 'Superwoman' then. The artist confused me, mostly because Thara looked as if she had incredibly short hair in previous installments, and in this there's a long braid. Plus, previously NW had been depicted with black hair, and her with brown, while FB had long blondish hair. I know hair color isn't always consistent, but when you're planting clues as to identity, you should at least make the clues match the reveal. At least the series got that out of the way quickly.

This is why the character tags shouldn't be cape/civilian

There are at least 6 different possible Nightwing tags (Clark Kent, Van-Zee, Dick Grayson, Kara Zor-L, Jason Todd, Chris Kent) and 5 Flamebird (Jimmy Olsen, Ak-Var, Betty Kane, Kara Zor-El, Thara Ak-Var) several of whom (Clark, Dick, both Karas, and Jason) have other cape names*, and several others (Jimmy, Chris, Thara) have non-costumed identities, which are likely to come up. And all of whom could easily be of interest in their time as Nightwing (if only for the 'trainwreck' aspect).

One Nightwing tag to cover all 6, and each of them having an individual tag under their civilian names, would work far better.

* Jay's potential tag under the current format is insane: 'char: Robin II/Red Hood II/Nightwing V/Red Robin II/Jason Todd'.

Given they managed to use the excuse of the dodgy time in the Phantom Zone to explain Zod and Ursa actually conceiving Chris (because otherwise, they never age) - then the dodgy time in the Phantom Zone is probably the reason he's older. Given Zod made the effort to destroy the Zone (and presumably contain whatever was inside it that he was so afraid of), that could've made the time problems even more screwy.

Yeah. During the much-delayed 'Last Sons' arc that Johns kicked off his run on Action with, Zod sends Supes into the Phantom Zone at one point, but not before declaring something along the lines of 'Kal-El is not the last son of Krypton - MY son is,' in direct reference to Chris. Before that, Clark and Lois had adopted him as their own, only for him to disappear into the Phantom Zone along with Zod and Ursa at the story's end.

Boo rapid aging. It'd be cooler if Chris was still 10 or 11 or however old he was when we saw him last.

Out of curiosity, I have the Superman: Last Son trade paperback, but are there any other stories with Chris? I seem to recall one that was posted in ye olden days but for the life of me can't remember.

	Busiek did a bunch of stories with Chris involved, although I couldn't tell you what trades they're in. Oddly enough, though, it's difficult to decide where these stories fit in during the timeline of Last Sons, given that takes place across a day or two, I think, and it implies that all these stories that Busiek wrote with Chris were somewhere inbetween.
