SDCC: Marvel Buys Marvelman
Marvel announced at SDCC that they've bought Marvelman (better known as Miracleman in the states) from creator Mick Anglo. 1 image under the cut.

Three words: Absolute Edition. Hardcover.
Only way it's gotta be.

And I will personally decapitate anyone who thinks he can digitally recolour art by Rick Veitch or John fucking Totleben.

I actually have no idea what Marvel calls their oversized hardcovers, Absolute Marvelman just sounds suitably epic.

I don't think Marvel has an equivalent to DC's Absolute Editions.

Marvel doesn't have a line equivalent to the Absolutes, which are huge; they have oversized hardcovers (which usually have around 12 issues) and Omnibuses (30+).
