Then again, to be fair, I haven't read anything involving these characters in a long time, so maybe they've changed in the interim.

I don't know about Man-Ape (who the great Hudlin later made a joke before killing off), but the Grim Reaper has been through a lot of changes.

At one point he actually became a zombie who had to suck the life-force from others.

Though he's one of the Black Panther's first and biggest foes, so I'm assuming someone will bring him back eventually.

Hopefully after the current crop of show-runners at Marvel is ousted.

At the moment, the only reason he's likely to be resurrected is if they heard some fans were annoyed with his being killed off, so they had him resurrected just long enough for Black Panther to kill him without ever noticing he's there by running him over in his tricked-out Escalade.

That one, I'm aware of. But he returned to normal when he was resurrected.
