I knew it!

So, I ran across this scan over at The Source. I guess it's from Titans #16, due in August.

I predicted back when Dick broke Kory's heart back in Titans #6 (7?) that they weren't done. Glad to see I was right, just because Dick and Kory are my OTP.

Aaaaaaaaaand....discuss!

	My mind first went to Bruce so my initial reaction to this was "Ewww" then I realized it was Dick but it's still awkward! Dick should not kiss Kory or Babas (especially Babs) in that costume Not big on Dick/Kory, it's not a pairing that I really like and since this is only happening in the Titans book it probably won't carry over to the Bat books. The artwork. Not so good on the anatomy. Kory's hair is very good, though. I like that a lot.
However . . . Dick. Dick looks like he's wearing the same type of "muscle suit" under the bat-suit as Evgeny Plyshenko is in this video:

When I saw how disproportionate the biceps and pecs were, my mind remembered this video. It just seems to explain how Dick suddenly went from lithe and strong to Holy Steriods, Batman!

	Muscle suit (and Bat-lifts) for Dick? That would... make far too much sense for it to be the case. Kory's hair does look lovely, I agree, though there seems to be something seriously wrong with her torso in addition to the odd anatomy on Dick. sigh Weird anatomy is weird. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	they weren't done. No comic couple ever is, because some writer will come around and want his old school OTP to be canon again. I just need to bide my time until a "Kitty Pryde and Pete Wisdom 4-EVAH" fan of Ellis's Excalibur comes around. Then things will be back to what they were really meant to be. (Reply to this)

	The anatomy may be off but the composition and sheer amount of detail make it rather pretty still. That said, can't wait to see Starfire hang around Gotham more. "Oh no! Convicts have escaped Arkham again!" Five minutes later Starfire is flying in dropping off a few of the worst offenders. Old Batman had Catwoman, New Batman has friggin' Starfire man! It'll be great.
