One Perfect Moment: Darkseid
Having seen a lot of villainous perfect moments, I've noticed a common trend. A lot of bad guys talk about how evil they are. Green Goblin plays around with a Gwen Stacy doll. The Joker teases Babs. Etc, etc. But when you're really evil. I mean, when you're dag-nasty bad? You don't have to advertise.

Scott Free and Big Barda have just gotten married when Darkseid approaches. They, of course, get the hell out of dodge for the honeymoon, leaving Earth until someone wants to revive their series. Shilo Norman and Oberon are left behind under shelter.

Ruining a wedding just to prove that life is constant struggle? Now THAT'S evil.

He's a subtle one, that Darkseid.

His favorite comedy, though? SCENES FROM A MARRIAGE.

yes, it's a perfect moment. It shows how pathetic he is. He just claims to get what he wants.

The one thing that always bothered me about this was the "Yeow! Go, Shilo, go!"

I mean, this is the conclusion of the original Fourth World saga. Really, the previous statement by Darkseid would've made for better closing words, no?

No, the closing words are Darkseid's maniacal laughter.

It's not really an ending until the epic tale of Goody Rickles and Flippa Dippa finally draws to a close.

Wouldn't say he was evil, more like a dick.

WOW. No wonder he's so interested in Superman.

Damn, now I want an entire comic of Darkseid doing a lot of really petty mean things.

"Goddammit, who short-sheeted my bed?"
"It was I, Darkseid! Hahahahahahaha!"

"Mommy, that bad gray mans knocked my ice cream cone right out of my hands!"
"Such is the hollowness of life, little one!"

Get on it, DC: Darkseid: Two for Flinching!

It could be a Joker/Darkseid team-up.
