Stay classy Marvel
I looked back a bit and I haven't seen this posted but I just joined so I might be mistaken in which case forgive the repeat.

So when I looked through Uncanny X-men on a recent bout of masochism my righteous feminism sense were all ready pinging and on the last page of Fantastic Force they went wild. (There's some alternate timelines involved before people go 'where did this come from' on me.)

Photobucket

Edited because I don't want the focus to be on my comments on comics and on the panel itself.

Hysteries. Right...I would have preferred 'We are are the women of the mysterious wandering womb.'

... To be honest, "Wandering Womb" does kind of sound like a D&D monster.

Great, now I'm picturing some Colossal uterus looming over a mountain ridge, fallopian tubes curling ominously around rocky peaks and some hapless male adventurer staring up, sword raised nervously. How would you stat that out? CR 24 at least, some kind of negative aura (Will save or be forced to make an attack every turn), some kind of really disgusting breath weapon usable once per month?

It definitely needs "Swallow Whole".

Damnit. You almost make me want to stat the entire thing.

It would absolutely need to be connected to the atropal from Epic Level Handbook.

Man, you know, as clever a conceit as "stillborn god" is, that is the single most disgusting monster WotC has ever managed. Also: not immune to turning, and therefore not remotely worth its CR (not that that's unusual for the ELH).

You'd also definitely want the ability to spawn something -- my favourite would be flesh golems preceeded by an offensive use of create water

I love that this has become a whole subsection of conversation.
