The Mech just isn't Superman -- when you think about it, about the fact it's this boy becoming a Big Damn Hero, it's really Captain Marvel.

The correct anime trope for Superman is essentially Astroboy.

Flash being Speed Racer / Racer X is intriguing, as is making Green Lantern into Space Adventure Cobra.

~~Ultra~~Aquaman is kinda meh.

Diana though... Logicaly she should be a magical girl so making her a reinvention of Captain Harlock is something I don't know if it's insanely inspired or so fundamentally wrong it beggars description.

The Battle of the Planets versions of Batman & Robin are really clever though Robin shouldn't have white in his colour scheme. The thing is, you could easily do the science ninja approach to League -- Clark as Mark, Shayera as Jason, Diana as Princess, Wally as Kiyup, John as Tiny, J'onn as ~~Raymond Burr~~7Zark7, Bruce as Chief Anderson
