Oh man oh man oh man!
I just got the best book. I just got the best collection of many pages that are held together between two covers. I own many books but this is the one I'm posting about today. Come enjoy it with me.
They have other problems, too! What kind of problems, Ollie?
You forgot her birthday?! Oh, Ollie, you're horrible, but at least you're trying! (i scanned the context for this one because it is adorable)
(see?)
What, you mean you didn't forget? So what happened? Oh poor Ollie! You were so ashamed of losing the picture you told her you forgot? I'm so sorry! What do you make of this new development, Dinah?
You're having Jimmy Olsen make a new one? How sweet!
These guys really like giving each other presents! And Dinah sure receives 'em graciously! (It's interesting how there's no subservience implied in that bow, just a polite way to say "hello" and acknowledge a friendship. Whether in the context of the book it's a good thing to teach kids politeness on equal planes or a disservice to teach them words without the proper connotations the word carries (like when i first learned the word "buxom" my pocket dictionary defined it as "pleasantly plump", so i took it as a polite word for a fat person and used it that way!), I can't quite decide.)
What else do you have for us, Super Dictionary?
Batman being a dick? Check.
I can't decide if the best part of this is how goofy Hawkman looks or Atom hiding in his sandwich! (is he spying for Batman?)
Robin will do anything for Batman...
...But he never said he'd do it happily! (sorry about the giant flea that apparently snuck in my scanner!)
I can't say anything to make this one better. It's too much on its own.
Look how much Babs isn't enjoying her own party! I bet none of those people are really her friends! (And is it just me or is she totally a re-colored Catwoman there?)
I leave you with Jimmy Olsen and one of my favorite words.
