A question about Black Panther's Dora Milaje.

Was there ever an explanation why the Dora Milaje turned from looking like this...

...to looking like this?

Also, I know one of the Dora Milaje was expelled in Priest's run and became the villain Malice (no relation to the x-villain of the same name) and I think there was only one left when Priest's series had ended.

And in Priest's run it was stated that T'Challa had the Dora Milaje because "they were from two Wakandan tribes" and "keeping them in his family as potential wives somehow kept the peace between the city dwellers and the tribal factions of [his] kingdom." (as Everett K. Ross stated in #2). Why would he still have them if he's married?

If the issue hasn't been addressed during the Hudlin run, and it's during that time that the change occurred, then perhaps those AREN'T the Dora Milaje. It's possible that the Dora Milaje are strictly a 'before marriage' sort of thing, and after the king has married it's accepted that they are no longer 'potential wives', and, now that the king has made his choice, are no longer necessary to keep the peace (especially in this case, since Storm is a member of neither faction, and therefore the stalemate has effectively been broken). My guess is that the ladies with the tufty heads are simply an official bodyguard of some sort.

No, they're referred to as being the Dora Milaje in Hudlin's run.

Oh - well, then maybe Hudlin is just stupid.
