The Defenders don't get no respect...
I always like the Defenders it was an offbeat book from Marvels bronze age. It didn't have alot of big names in it so they could be free with the interaction and turn up the drama. I'd like to see the book come back as a non canon experience set in a retro 1983 ( a true bronze age book)taking advantage of history. Sort of like the retro Sentry book , but more serious :)

...and they had great villains like Egghead and the headmen !

I always enjoyed Egghead as a villain. Solarr, not so much.

I always liked the Rhino...but wondered how he used the bathroom.

I never read it, but I think there was an issue of Tangled Web years ago that addressed that very issue.

According to the GCD, it was Spider-Man's Tangled Web #5-6

I dunno. I can't get into those books, black and white on newsprint...yuck.

I seem to recall there was a defenders where Valkyrie had to spend some time in the joint, very dykie. Don't recall the issue number.

Give thanks to you for writing on this difficulty really around and dear towards the hearts of Wake County North Carolina residents. You will be pathetic to understand that just this evening, March 2, 2010, the Wake County Faculty Board rush through an unvetted resolution to totally phase out the current socioeconomic diversity policy. It is actually a unfortunate day for all Wake County households. Please proceed to write to the matter and try to get your message through to this college board.Nike Dunk Low
