	Not that he actually apologizes, mind. This does defray the argument that it's okay for her to whack him in JLA somewhat, though. The balance is probably off in her favor again, depending on how we count the severity of each incident (Ollie never suffers unconsciousness, frex). (Reply to this) (Thread)

Also, interesting that she's pissed off he tazed her, but makes no mention of the reason he tazed her. She doesn't seem upset that he cut her out of the op and treated her like an infant who can't make her own decisions or be part of his, and in the conversation in bed later her distrust takes the form of "I don't like seeing some hot girl try to get in your pants." She really does not care at all that he doesn't respect her rights or autonomy - she just wants him to do it the sneaky Sin way and not the brute force way.

Tell me again why I'm supposed to like them as a couple?

	To be fair though, the attempts could be infinitely better. There's nothing wrong with using ideas from a title's or character's history. there is something very wrong with assuming that just because you're paying homage to the past, that it makes up for bad storytelling. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	Dinah's just spoiled from having Barbara as a commander. The difference is that Barbara has Issues (that she overcame/is overcoming), while Ollie has Jerkass that occasionally puts on a fake nose and glasses. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Well, that and Babs actually does good when she does the whole "I'm in charge here and your desires are not relevant" thing (Ra's, Helena, Ted's heart condition, even the firing was a net positive), while Ollie's unilateralism inevitably fucks up (here, it's him almost getting himself killed and creating a situation where Cupid can escape, but at least he didn't commit any felonies or break up any families this time).

Also, Dinah seems more willing to call out Babs when she crosses the line, and to do so more productively, than she does Ollie. With the firing, again, she put a lot of effort into showing Babs she was wrong, and got an apology and better treatment out of it. When Babs was like "don't marry Ollie ~~come back to me~~," Dinah told her off and then brought her around with the "I get it, really, but be my maid of honor anyway" thing. When Ollie misbehaves, though, she either punches him or marries him. It's not really as good a system.
