They're totally setting her up as Oracle 2.0, aren't they?

And then Cass can come back as a second Batgirl.

And Helena and Zinda and Charlie can come back!

And the book can become Oraclez And Batgirlz And Birdz Of Prey!

And then we will all go play in the cotton candy clouds above the DC offices, where there is only sunshine and rainbows and the crossovers only happen once every 5 years for a grand total of 3 months at most.

AND IT WAS GOOD.

uhm.

It was more a 'oh god, they're going to try to make her Oracle so Babs can take up the Batgirl mantle after Steph gets shot or something.'

Oh, well, yeah, they could go that route too, I guess....

And the nearest we get to a romance comic will be Scott Free and Big Barda kicking arse in awesome unison!

Oracle 1.0 knows computers... but Wendy knows machinery.

She could be the DCU's Q (the James Bond one).

I /like/ this idea, this should happen! that way, Wendy isn't Babs' sidekick or just "another paralyzed techno-genius", they're each unique and vital in their own way. DC, take note

Ah, the Kitty/Doug paradigm; she builds the tech, he writes the software to make them work, or as Kitty put it to him "Me Stradivarius, you Izaac Perlman"

Keep telling yourself that.

Uh huh. Because everyone makes backups of everything and anything their computer has.

Because nobody is human and makes mistakes.

Everybody makes mistakes.
Everybody has those days.
Everyone knows, knows what I'm talking bout.
Everybody gets that way

There should be a difference in the backup habits between "everyone" and Oracle.

Well, Oracle isn't a machine.

No, but if only she had some kind of machine that could make backups automatically. A kind of computing machine that excelled in repetitive tasks that humans often forget to do. Maybe Wendy can invent such a computing machine for her.

It's not Babs' fault that a lot of her writers don't know dick about computers.
