	She looks like she's trying to facesit poor Black Lightning as her buddy holds him down, but it isn pretty darn bad posing. Tan doesn't impress me at all, especially as he didn't manage to measure up to Quitely on Batman and Robin. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	At a guess, members of a new "Masters of Disaster", the elementally themed mercenary team that the old Outsiders team fought. Former members Windfall (wind powers) and Shakedown (earthquakes) are currently dead, I thought Heatstroke and Coldsnap had retired, but seem to be there, and New Wave (their psycho water-form leader) was in jail, but I can see her reforming them. 	The power manifestation is unclear so I have no idea if her powers involve lightning. Heck, it might even BE Livewire. If you mean the appearance, if that IS New Wave of the Masters of Disaster, she had the blue haired, pale skinned look going in something like 1985. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	You know, I had been thinking that Outsiders would be the perfect book for Cassandra Cain to join, but I don't know how I feel about Dan Didio writing her. (Well, I don't know how I feel about Didio's writing for that matter. I have no clue what his writing is like outside of those DC Nation columns.) (Reply to this) (Thread)

He did the tail end of SUPERBOY. Uninspiring, and failed to take real advantage of almost any of Kon's cool story-driving traits, but not necessarily bad.

On the other hand, I can't bring myself to give even a single percent of a damn about this incarnation of the team - it's an uninspiring cast, Alfred is a horrific fit for the part he's playing, Tomasi's done nothing to convince me otherwise, and he's used almost entirely bad cliches and weird unnatural story choices thus far, so I can't even care about the plot. So Didio's welcome to the book, he can't possibly make it less interesting.

Wish someone would poach Jeff elsewhere, though. He could be interesting at Checkmate, if Checkmate were relaunched with a competent writer.

	It's not White Lightning, is it? The costume looks right from this angle (blue pants, silver lightning streak, leather jacket), but she never actually had lightning powers, and it's hard to tell what colour her hair is actually meant to be. (Reply to this)
