As seen in previous issues, Riley's been working with Twilight as part of his inner circle. This issue, Buffy spots him wounded on the battlefield and brings him in.

The three giant Goddesses from last issue are indiscriminately slaughtering both sides. It appears that they've been away from this plane for so long that all humans look the same to them, and they can't tell friend from foe.

	I'm not sure. The book predates the character, but I personally didn't hear about the book until way after the character. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	I don't think so. He's got nothing in common with the franchise beyond the name; it Whedon wanted to satirize Meyer's books I'd think there'd be a bit more to it than that. (Reply to this) (Parent)
