Deadpool #17 preview
On today's show, we will be baking a gigantic disaster souffle. First, take one genuine hero leader, put him in a situation he/she doesn't understand. Next, add one Deadpool... #17 flavor. Add plenty of munitions and knife sharpeners (can never have too much). Presto! Let explode and bring about raw carnage until done.

Make sure you bring plenty of electric fans to cool things off, because the action is hot and the sh*t tends to hit them!

CBR has the full preview.

Two images from the preview.

I would've been happier if Wade tried the pig suit again.

As a fan of the New X-Men, I had a few facepalms with this story.
First, Cyclops asking who is Mr Cessily's daughter. Nice to know that the X-kids are so irrelevant that he didn't even bother to learn the last names of those who are still alive.
Second, Cessily's problem with her father is not that he divorced hos mother, it's that he (and her mother) were ashamed that their daughter was a mutant and were cold with her.

This said, this last apnnel is hilarous, yeah.

Ummm... When does he ask that?

Erm... I meant Mr Kincaid. He asked it in the previous issue after Cess' father showed in the news.

It's kind of funny, because here and in a recent issue of Astonishing X-Men, they are showing that basically Scott doesn't pay attention to who the kids are besides their codenames. I found it especially bad in Astonishing when Emma was like, "I think I just saw Laurie Collins" and Scott is like, "Who?". I nearly facepalmed at that. I mean really, Scott? You can't remember the name of the girl who got shot in the head on the lawn of a school YOU were running? Then again, I guess so many kids have died at the school recently that he just can't be bothered to remember names. *rollseyes*

Iceman actually said something along those lines once. Not sure I remember the actual quote:

"The truth is... I don't even bother learning their names anymore. They don't write 'the kid I played Playstation with' on somebody's tombstone."
