There's no issue with the concept - a second JSA book is a good idea, and there's nothing wrong with the secondary team being the 'see a guy, and hit him' team.

The problem is the roster - the least violent team members going over to the 'see a guy, and hit him' team, and a mindless thug being given command.

I do actually have some problems with the concept. The JSA shouldn't have a 'see a guy and hit him' team. That's the JLA or better yet, the Outsiders. The JSA fulfils the unique role of being a real mentor team in the DCU, with a great focus on the idea of legacy heroes. The JSA isn't about rough 'em tough 'em squads.

I have no trouble with a second JSA book, although I'd prefer it in the JSA vs Kobra format. That mini is spectacular, IMO.
