Achtung! Luftwaffe vor !

Luftwaffe 1946 Ted Nomura's alternate WW2 masterpiece !

As alternate histories go, look no further. This painstakingly research story about a ww2 that happens differently. The biggest change? Hermann Göring dies in WW1 and VonRitter is in charge of the Luftwaffe, so jets are widely available by 1943,and the long range bomber project is not canceled. Ted Nomaura is a huge fan of the German X-planes. The war still ends with an Allies victory it just lasts til Aug. 1946.

I assume they mean in the sense of

"Is the story presented as being sympathetic to the aims and ends of the Axis forces, such as ethnic extermination on the part of the Nazi's"

No, The Allies still win the war,it just lasts another 14 months and the Germans have the time to bring out the X-planes and such. Ted Nomura's grandfather was in the war. The inside cover of each issue was an editorial he wrote. One of them was about the time (at age 15) he confronted his grandfather about his part in the war. "Did you see any atrocities or comitts them ?" he asked. His Grandfather would not talk about it. The war is examined from many angles and POVs. Yes he does have the Japanese manga love for girls in miniskirt uniforms up to shenanigans, but this is also a serious work making up 8 different versions of "Family of altered wars".

Thanks for the answer. I was wondering if they delved into the politics of the war or if it was just battles/tech.

Yes, lots of politics. There is one issue about a veteran who is black recounting his war experience in the battle or Layette gulf. His Sgt. was a southern racist but the two had to work together to stay alive. The Book reboots like 3 times (sort of like Gundam-Wing) and every tangent that is worth it gets arrested.
