From very opposite ends of the genre spectrum.

Four scans apiece from Daredevil #501, the first proper issue of Andy Diggle's run on the title, and from X-Men vs. Agents of Atlas #1; obviously something of a stylistic difference.

First, over in the grimy side of town, Turk is called in to meet with the Kingpin, who remarks that when he first returned last arc he said Turk would be his lieutenant until a more suitable person was evident.  That time has come at last.  Also, he knows that Turk screwed up in #500 and gave Daredevil the information he needed to crash the Hand ceremony.

A cunning plan indeed.  Though it relies on Turk going around boasting that the Kingpin is a wuss for not having his throat cut, which is the sort of tempting fate you'd only do if you were an idio...oh, yeah, good plan.

Daredevil's initiation into the Hand requires a sacrifice, and the Hand wants Master Izo.  Daredevil has a bunch of ninjas and Black Tarantula jump him and drag him off.  Then the two of them get into a shouting match about necessary sacrifices, etc.

"...Lord Daredevil."

One tends to doubt that this isn't some elaborate plan by the group to fool the Hand.  If not, harsh (sort of reminds me of the penultimate episode of Angel).

Over in sunny San Francisco, the Agents raid X-HQ to steal Cerebra, because Venus is missing and they can't find her with their own technology.  Jimmy remarks that...

Back in San Francisco, the Agents narrowly get away with Cerebra, thanks to the X-Men's skirmish group not having a telepath with it, allowing the Uranian to disrupt everybody (Colossus is throttling everyone until Bob makes him think he just snapped Shadowcat's neck, for example).

Kurt, man, go back to red-and-black; it looks way better.  As an aside, his stock has seriously depreciated lately; there are now four teleporters attached to the overall X-Men (him, Pixie, Illyana, now Cloak), and he's got the least range and least capacity of any of them.

I really wish Pagulayan was drawing UXM instead of Land.

Hard to say, really; the lack of an internal perspective means you could interpret it either way (which is a good trick, I think).

I could imagine him going there imagining he'd wrap up a loose end with someone who was, after all, a murderous assassin (and the clone of an assassin, ad nauseaum); but that once he got there he wasn't sure what to do with him.

It seems an odd thing for Kurt to do, though - especially since Fraction stated in an interview that, at the time, he was more at peace than ever.
But I wouldn't mind if Kurt developed a harder edge. Maybe that would get him some panel time.
