Yeah, WORD. This thing here is just over-the-top ridiculous besides being ugly. The old Red Hood costume had style!

*sigh* I still kind of hope this isn't Jason, but then I'm also still in denial about Damian -- scratch that, about all of RIP and BftC -- and hope poor Dick wakes up from his acid-fuelled nightmare soon.

I think the key term is over-the-top. A version of this classic look (if I'm recalling correctly it is a lot more like the original Red Hood design from way back) could work on some other character, some kind of grandiose costumed criminal, but on a Jason Todd that's now DC's answer to The Punisher?

Off. Way off.
