Jason's thighs are epic.

It's one of the fundamental ways to tell Dick and Jason apart. Tim is tiny so he's easy but with Dick and Jason, it's Jasons epic thighs that give him away.

OMFG. YES. HAHAH. Dick's got the ass, Jay's got the thighs.

Also, where did you get your icon from? Every time I see it I want to ask you about it.

It's from ~jillicons on LJ. They have great icons for the DCU.

I don't know, the best part about Countdown was the Jason & Kyle asshot but I'm with you, Dick is about the ass, Jason is about the thighs. I have yet to decide what Tim is about.

Oh, I wasn't sure if it was from a comic or not?

HA. Yeah, Tim's got the nerd factor to help tip his scale.

Sadly not, it's from fanart from ages and ages ago.

Tim has a rather cute, nerdy style. Dick has the pretty but loving thing going on. Jason has the rebel with cause and huge thighs thing going on. I won't fault Bruce's taste.

And Steph has the perky... smile. ;-P

Sadly, the only one Bruce didn't choose is the not-so-attractive one. (Of course, he's only 10 now, but .... attitude and all.)

Steph's a plucky blonde. The first one who doesn't look like Martha Wayne.

Damian looks amazingly like his Dad, but he is still a baby as yet. Even Dick was a right brat at 12 sometimes.

Yeah. I mean they're between children and pre-pubescents.

That's why sometimes a lot of the hate on Jason bugs me b/c for God's sake he was a freakin' teen with hormones, etc. not to mention he had been living on the street for who knows how long.
Yes, he was rash, impulsive, reckless, etc. but he tried and wanted to do good.

And seriously? This ish looks really promising.

This issue looks very promising, with the "Red Hood has a revelation about Bruce Wayne" for Dick in (Dec? Nov) so I think this looks fabulous. I know Morrison said he was looking forward to writing Red Hood so I'm psyched so far. Scarlet is also really growing on me.

In the end, you just need to look at the timing. One week: He either let Garzonas die or pushed him. Next: Garzonas' dad tries to kill Jason for killing his son. Next: A Death in the Family. It wasn't his proudest moment but he was a messed up kid who Bruce loved and who Tim looked up to and who Dick got all Vader NOOOOOO about. I hate that since he's come back, everyone but Bruce (who I want to say was in denial) seems to have forgotten that he was family and how badly they all took it. Jason is not the first person to use lethal force, he was family to these people and he has been written off so badly lately.

If Winick writes him, I'll geek out with joy. If Morrison continues like this, I'll be really happy, because it seems like Dick gives a damn but is cautious, which is how it really should have been from day one.

I don't know if Winick will get the chance to write him, since the brain trust at DC has decided Tony Daniels should be writing the Batman book. Yeaaaah. I mean his art's great, but his writing... UGH.

Also, did you notice it seems like Morrison is ignoring the whole "shot Damian in the chest thing"? That's at least the impression I got.

I'm glad Morrison was looking forward to writing Jason. He's a complex character and I just recently re-read BftC. It was so incredibly cliche and over the top. I mean, Daniels pretty much turned Jason into a one-note villain with barely any complexity. Why? Anti-heroes are so much more fun.

Oh, I agree, totally enjoying Scarlet so far. When I read a reviewer say they'd love to see a mini of Red Hood based on the interaction between him and Scarlet alone, I thought that was absolutely kick-ass. I hope it happens (and Winick writes it?! Maybe!?!)

I don't feel as angry with TD now I understand the reasoning. He had to get from point A to point B and while it wasn't good, it's over and I'm hoping we can all just move on.

I sort of liked the shot. All Robins have been tested - Dick with being beaten by Two-Face, Jason by the Joker and Tim by Jason himself - so I rather hope it is touched upon as a lesson. That he is a child and children do die like that. It's crazy but workable crazy.

Daniel thinks Jason is a one-note villain (have you seen the disasterous interview? yeeesh). I'm hoping he stays away from him. He can show up in Batgirl instead.

Winick, Johns and Morrison have done the best jobs thus far so I can't wait for the next three issues. It's all very exciting and I hope to see more of both Jason and Scarlet in coming issues.

You really like his art? I cannot stand it. All the female characters wear thongs and high heels, and he personally convinced the editors that I've-Been-Shot-In-The-Stomach-Twice Helena should always wear the bare-midriff costume.

While extreme fanservice is common in comics, Daniels takes it to an especially idiotic and tasteless extreme.

Eh, I mean he's talented art-wise, you've got to give him that.

It was silly to see Dinah's costume wedged all the way up her butt for no reason whatsover, but he doesn't take it to near the extreme of Guillem March.

Sorry, but I don't. I really don't like his art at all.
