Point is, Jason did a lot of planning in UtH, a quality that can also be found the other times Winick wrote Jason.

Well, let's see how my replacement is doing?

This is assuming that that was his goal, rather than 1)beat the ever loving hell out of him, 2)show the Titans he's not just Batman's problem, 3)teach them no to underestimate him by getting into their turf, and 4)GET AT BRUCE. Not that Johns' Jason is well characterized.
