Except in the scans he clearly calls Cass partially to look for support. Not for some clearance if he did the right or something like that, but for someone who will listen and who will understand. Of course he intended to reveal his doubts, otherwise they wouldn't be at the cemetary. He turned to Cass, because as he says at the final page, she's someone like him, someone who could never have a normal life, which is the reason she understands. That speech over there is for both of them and the scene does, at least to me, strongly indicate that Bruce knows that.
