Amazing Spider-Man #606

If you've read the first look, you've probably seen the debate here over whether or not Norah's "rice and beans" comment was racist. Well, Norah falls back onto the "I'm not racist, I'm equally obnoxious to everyone!"

I really hate Norah. Michelle's grown on me a little (mainly because she's a victim in all this) but I'm hoping Norman drops Norah off a bridge.

Also, the issue marks the return of the Black Cat...

Also, Steve Wacker makes this comment on the letters page that I'm sure will get some people talking here.

UGH NORAH'S COMMENT MAKES ME SO DAMN MAD

(Also, where did she get the idea that Michelle was a hussy? These chicks don't even know each other! Did the writer get his face bitten off by a lady or something? Because if not, he's certainly heading in that direction . . .)

Do people even use the word hussy in real life these days? It sounds so antiquated.

I've only ever used it jokingly, personally, but Kelley seems to be going for a Juno-esque way of speaking for Norah (and failing miserably, and making her sound like a twat), so I suppose that could explain it . . .
