Who: Sam and OPEN.
When: Todayish
What: Sam is trying to gather info on the town.
Where: Around Salem.
Warnings: N/A
Sam didn't know what to think at the moment. His first response was to find Dean, even if minutes before, Dean was the last person he wanted to see. Telling Dean that he didn't want to be around him, that he didn't want to talk to him was so easy. He was so angry, even telling Dean to just go. So, I think you should just go on without me. Go. The words were fresh in his mind, Dean's response, the last look he gave his brother. It was all there. The next thing he knew later that night, he was offered a feather with hopes of something better. Maybe he had a little bit to drink that night, but he thought it was just a dream, but the dream became reality. He was here and it was pretty safe to say that he was freaking out.
As much anger as he had for his brother, he had asked for him the first chance he got. The anger was justifiable in his opinion. Sam had told Dean that he had take care of a job. Which he had. He let Amy go, she had a son. The kitsune in her was definitely feeding from people, but dead people. She was a mortician. It was only when her son got sick that she had killed and as much as Sam wanted to make that right, he couldn't just ... kill her. And the reason being was because as a kid, he had met Amy. She killed her mother to save him. He couldn't kill her.
But Dean could. And he did. And literally hours before he had come to Salem, he had found out from the leviathan that had shapeshifted into his own brother. Sam, of course questioned Dean and then ... Sam was gone. He left. Walked off.
And now he was here. Without his brother. Not only that, he had the fear of Lucifer showing back up. In his head - in person - it was all the same to him. He was messed up, but he was managing and right now, the only thing - the only thing - that was keeping him stable was his need for answers.
He spoke to a few people on the network, Max, Hanna and Caroline. His conversation with Caroline was cut short. He had apparently insulted her by asking if she was a witch, but he was curious. She knew a lot of information, which he didn't hesitate to jot down in a note pad since he didn't have his laptop. Not that it would matter. Frank destroyed it and gave him a new one. It was part of his new life, apparently since the leviathans had taken over their identities and had gone on a grade A murder spree in Jericho, St. Louis and then Iowa, all places that he and Dean had worked a case, in order.
Either way, Sam was out, walking the town, trying to get a feel. Witches were a little iffy to him, but he found over the years that if the supernaturals weren't hurting anyone, he could find a way to get a long with them. Somewhat. He wasn't as black and white as his brother. There was definitely a grey area with Sam Winchester. But Dean wasn't here apparently. His call on the network didn't bring his brother out, so it was just him. Gathering information which wasn't in the least forthcoming. But that didn't necessarily stop him.
