"Alicia? I'm Sam," he greeted, extending his hand for her and he looked back at the store, but thinking all the while if she actually said zombies. She said zombies. That's what he heard. ...First zombies. That's what he heard in his head and he looked back at her. It wasn't such a leap, that maybe there were others who knew exactly what was out there, but zombies ...
"Yeah, it's probably a good idea that we find out everything there is to know about Salem. There is the stereotypical stuff. Witch town - clearly," he laughed a little as he pointed up to the bookstore sign. His eyes fell back on her again and he didn't want to keep her, but then again, he didn't want her thinking he was some crazy, which was clearly possible, he knew this.
"So, you said zombies..." He said quietly and smiled a little. "I just - you had zombies where you're from?" He moved out of the way so a lady could walk in to the store and he nodded his head. Sure, she had zombies and he just had to deal with leviathans who had shapeshifted he and his brother and went on a crime spree complete with mass murder. He swallowed at that thought.
"I'm not trying to keep you. If you have someone where else to be, then you can tell me to screw off."
