WHO Christy and Billy
WHAT Cleaning up
WHERE Crow Haven Corner
WHEN After her net about the vandalized shop
WARNINGS None anticipated
Christy couldn't believe she was dealing with this right now. This mess was big. Where would she end start cleaning? Everything was going calmly in her personal life recently. No more haunted houses to deal with and she knew better than to fall for the same old tricks the witches had throw her way before. Yes, there were a string of murders happening around town but she wasn't the hero type and it wasn't affecting her personally, so she didn't care. She just wanted to keep working on improving her magic. She was currently reading two books on the occult, hoping to find something to give her the boost she needed.
When she showed up to work to open it up for the day, that's when she realized something was wrong. The door shouldn't have been open and the nearby window was broken. At first she thought that someone accidentally broke the window and didn't want to pay for it. The minute she walked into the store and saw the extent of the damage she knew there was more to it than that. She prepared herself for the intruders to still be around.
After looking around to ensure nothing was stolen and that the perpetrators of this crime weren't around, she took to the web to notify people of the situation. She didn't want customers to stop by when the store was in such bad shape. It was a dangerous situation. There was glass everywhere so she was being cautious where she stepped because she didn't want a piece of glass to get lodged in her boots. She was pleasantly surprised when Billy offered to help with the clean up. She didn't know if he was a magic user or not, but she hoped he was because the more witches helped clean, the faster things would go. Police quickly caught wind of what happened so interviews were in order. Christy was relieved when they left because she didn't really feel comfortable around authority.
There was nothing else left to do as she waited for Billy to arrive, but to grab a broom and start sweeping up some of the glass. She needed to start somewhere. She was worried about using her magic right away because it was possible the people that vandalized the store would return. If they did, Christy wanted to be ready to throw the full extent of her pyrokinesis in their direction. She didn't care about personal gain.
