Christy frowned and nodded. "Yeah, you're right. I hope it's over soon because I don't want to keep cleaning up this place every day." Christy didn't elaborate because she knew Billy would understand she meant the mess due to the vandalism, not the usual clean up that came with working there.
About thirty minutes later about more than half the store was clean and Christy was happy that they were making progress. She didn't know how much she would've gotten done alone, but she knew her coworkers would help her soon. They all needed to clean the normal way because using magic would be a sure fired way to get accused of being a witch and with the hysteria in town, Christy didn't know what that would entail. She didn't want to hurt people with her pyrokinesis. She was trying to save it for the monsters.
"There's only a little more left to clean. My coworkers should be here soon. I don't know what's taking them so long. The cops must be holding them up. You can head out if you want."
