Christy understood Billy's concern and for this reason she was going to let him in on something only a select few knew about this shop. She didn't know if she should be telling him this, but he seemed trustworthy. Besides since he offered his help so willingly, he had proven himself to be caring and kind. These qualities alone let her know that he wasn't going to tell anyone what she was about to reveal. She discovered this on her own, through working in various sections and putting away inventory.
"A few things, yeah. The items that hold true magical value were in the displays that were smashed and I can point out those items. I know certain things shouldn't be next to each other; I can tell you the order in which they were previously kept because the way they interact can be dangerous, so you're right. Most of the books are for fun, others are educational and overall none of them hold much power, so if you're more comfortable picking up the books for now, that's fine," she explained.
Christy didn't tell him anymore because she was still figuring it out. She knew that Davina was hiding something from her, but she couldn't quite put her finger on it yet. In time she would and then she would confront her about the secrecy. She didn't like it but understood.
