"Not really," Billy replied, shrugging. "I just felt like I should come help. This is so crappy and since I can't find the person who is missing, I figured I should do something." Maybe he could, but Billy's magic was so stunted in this place that he didn't really know what he could or couldn't do. His magic was will power based, and basically whatever Billy wanted to happen, could happen if he wanted it enough, but that didn't seem to matter here. Just another frustrating thing to add to the crap pile.
Sighing, he bent down to pick some books and wipe away the dust and residue that had coated them. "Do you know how this stuff works? Maybe we shouldn't be placing some items next to others?" Dr. Strange worked with magical items, but Billy didn't know much about it beyond what he'd read in books. Some magicks didn't work well with each other and just resulted in an even bigger mess. Hopefully no looter had run away with something. Or maybe that was what they deserved.
