I think this pace is leisurely enough.

. . . If you think so.

[points to a plant on the ground]

Here's one.

Miss Feathers helped you identify them, then? I have some illustrations in the journal but it isn't always easy to apply those to reality.

[crouching down to look at it]

We ought to see if some of these will grow in the garden.

[Soon we will both learn not to fuss! Maybe! Is gonna dig up this plant to see if it'll grow decently \o/]

[pauses, then shifting to the side a bit so you don't have to lean over him. Is being careful to dig around it and not break roots]

How often has replanting been successful?

Less often than I'd like, when moving plants from the lake. There is more moisture in the air due to the falls, than there is around the garden.

Maybe we should replicate the conditions more.

A fountain...? I'm not sure we have the tools to accomplish that.

I guess not. There's no other way to get water in the air, is there?

I can't really think of any, aside from magic of some kind, but I don't know anything like that. [Carefully loosens the plant from surrounding soil and stands up with it, to put in the basket.]

[nods] We'll find some of the medicinal herbs, and maybe some mint we can dry for tea.
