	Candidates are myself, Max, Anchor, Razzy, Persephone and Tide. One of my partners can fly but can't use a cloak while doing so, since he shapechanges. I expect Allen could make the climb. We have seven cloaks between Delphinus, Cepheus and Canis. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Orion has enough to cover our team, and Cheer of Apus has one, too. As for fliers, that Pyxis girl- [Indicates Kagura.] -says that she has a magical creature who can go, as well. If your partner doesn't have any alternative to keep covered, maybe he should join the group on the ground, instead.

You're going to need to line the pants and shoes of any fliers, though. I know from experience that being lifted off the ground allows influence to creep in underneath. Presumably, King will be able to see you that way, if you don't stay covered.

He has, and I was thinking of bringing him on the retrieval team, with a cloak for concealment if we can make a few more. If he can't levitate himself and it's necessary to have him there, Tide and Max and I can likely handle him between us.

Willing, or able; it's one of the things I'm planning to ask, believe me.

Two more questions. One, are we prepared for King to lock everyone down the way he did during the last event? And two, should we try for a psychic gestalt to channel his power once he's dead?

	Good idea. We'll also need to make sure the fighters on the ground can handle themselves in that state. The way I see it, if we can psychically link several mages closely enough, we should be able to channel the power released more efficiently, and hopefully mitigate any backlash somewhat. You'd have to drop your bracer, obviously. I'd link us all together tightly, so that our intent synchronizes and we can approach the power as a group, instead of as individuals. We'd have very clear telepathic communication, share emotions and thoughts to an extent...it would be a deep link, and we'd temporarily resemble a group mind.

I'll be honest with you; I'm not sure to what degree it would mitigate the side effects. It would almost certainly be better than multiple people trying to channel the power at once.
