It's unfortunately devoid of furniture, but there are several jugs of water and glasses sitting in a corner for refreshments. If anyone was hoping for snacks, however, they'd better have brought their own.]

[For anyone who hasn't seen him recently, Mitsuru is looking closer to sixteen than eleven, in an Orion uniform that's too big and badly-made sandals. Before he begins speak, he reaches out with the staff he always carries in his left hand to rap on the wall- three sharp taps, to get attention.]

Everyone listen. In a few days, King is holding that dance of his. He claims two people are going to get their wish and go home, but let's be realistic- he's a liar, and a sadist, and he knows what we've been doing. Unless we do something first, he's going to kill us there and then start all over again, bringing in a whole new set of blanks to jump through his hoops and play his games.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not going to die here, and if any of us want to walk out of here alive, we're going to need a plan.

So we have a plan.

The day of the dance, a few people- Scowl and Orion, maybe a few more- are going to arrive wearing the cloaks that shield from the judges' eyes. Several more, uncloaked, will need to carry in some of the keystones that we already possess, in the boxes that shield them from judges' eyes. Since we'll have them on from the beginning, King shouldn't know we're there at all. We know that King's keystone is in the arena- in the throne or the ceiling, most likely, but maybe even in Ophiuchus' dorms- so while the game is going on, someone or several someones who can reach high places, either with AT or flight, will search to find it. Ideally, these people will be cloaked as well, but that means they're going to have to search thoroughly, since the cloaks block out some of the keystones' influences. They'll need to get closer than they usually would to find it. When the location is confirmed, they'll send out a signal to the blanks who appear to be legitimately attending the dance, and inform Scowl of where it is.

Once the signal is received, a distraction is in order. The rioting proved effective the other day, so it ought to be something similar- nothing too large-scale, but definitely enough to get his attention. In the meantime, Scowl will approach the keystone, remove it, and place it in a box to shield it from King's view.

Obviously when he does, we'll need something major to keep King from reacting. Speed will be on our side, so we really only need to buy a few seconds for Scowl to clear the area without retaliation. As he takes the keystone, one or more people in the crowd holding onto keystone boxes will open them, revealing their presence to King. It's risky, but it should also be very effective. Immediately after they're opened, the boxes will be closed again and passed to those in the crowd who are cloaked, and Scowl and those holding the other keystones will exit the arena. Those remaining will deliver an ultimatum: if King kills anyone present, the blanks will respond in kind. He won't know where his keystone is, or if we're bluffing. He won't be in any position to make demands.

At that point, "His Majesty" is exactly where we want him. We can either extract demands, kill him, or both.

...that's all. If anyone has ideas for improvements, now's the time.

	I have several, as it happens. For one thing, I tracked the power he diverted from Persona back to his keystone; it's in the ceiling, well warded. A team of fliers with dormstone cloaks is already assembled to retrieve it. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
