Where: An abandoned dorm
When: Day DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYMORE
What: Fuck yeah rebellion!!!

[There have been people trickling into this abandoned dorm all day, some even wearing dorm-lined clothing perhaps. It's unfortunately devoid of furniture, but there are several jugs of water and glasses sitting in a corner for refreshments. If anyone was hoping for snacks, however, they'd better have brought their own.]

[The Plan: Take Two]
[info]righthandsmoke

Alright, listen up! Here's the plan again with revisions after hearing everyone out so far.

We know where King's keystone is now. Jace felt it out when he diverted the power Persona was supposed to take from her game. That doesn't mean our job's any easier though. Jace tells us there's a ward around the stone, maybe more than one. It's flawed, but we still shouldn't underestimate a Judge's power. Everyone needs to work on the assumption that breaking through that ward will take us time, so we'll have to work to keep King's attention while people work on that.

To actually get at King's stone, we need a small team of fliers. Anyone on this team is going to have to wear dorm-lined cloaks, pants, and shoes. You have to make sure there's no way it can leak through any gaps in your clothing or else you risk being overwhelmed with King's power, and we cannot risk that.

Ah . . . if possible at all, fliers should wait outside the arena until the game gets started. Someone can signal you to come in. You might be able to avoid getting hit with any extra power limitations King enforces that way..

As far as destroying King's stone goes, we've got access to a god-slaying sword now. Edge has killed both Clockmaker and Queen with it already, and he has magnetic powers that'll let him launch it at the stone from anywhere. We do want to have back ups in case something happens to him. Anyone who is light and able to wield a sword is ideal—that way both the back-up and the sword can be hidden under a cloak until they're needed.

The sword can also be sensed by psychics and telepaths. Anyone who can do that should get familiar with it now so they can track it if it goes missing at any point.

Now, distractions. We're going ahead with the plan to show King the keystones we've got to keep his attention on the rest of us. Right now we have Messenger's, the Twins', Huntress's, and Soldier's. If there's others out there, speak up. . . . And are we counting Librarian's in this? Or Persona—Wonderella . . .

Anyway. We're going to need a volunteer for each of those stones to carry them in and open the dorm boxes to show King. It's going to be the riskiest part of this plan. Do not volunteer for that part of the plan if you aren't willing to risk your life completely. We'll also need volunteers to wear dorm-lined cloaks that can take the keystones from the group who'll reveal them to King. Once they've been shown to him, we need to get the boxes closed and hidden under cloaks as soon as possible to avoid having them taken from us.

At some point, Messenger is going to attempt to ascend to the throne. We've got no idea how successful it'll be, but it should definitely buy us more time while they argue about it. Messenger, are you planning to do this before or after we reveal our keystones?

We also need to consider fighters. We need fighters. There's undefected Ophiuchus to consider as well as whatever other bullshit King tries to send at us. Anyone who can fight should be prepared to do so, especially if you don't have to rely on powers. At the last dance, King stripped everyone's powers from them so people who relied on magic and shit like that were at a disadvantage. Be aware of that.

Finally, do not speak to anyone wearing a cloak or dorm-stone clothing. They're only invisible. King will notice if we start speaking to "empty air." If you need to communicate with them, devise some kind of signals before hand.

. . . Actually, one more "finally". Any mages who'd be willing to try to channel King's power after his death should speak up now. We know it's possible to harness the power of a Judge after their death—it's been tested. We just need enough people to actually do it now.

Is there anything else that needs to be changed? Any other suggestions?

I'm willing to try channeling, in case it wasn't obvious. And I'll check to make sure he's willing, but I've got a backup candidate; one of my teammates, Nico, just got back from the Foreman. He's great with a sword and he's pretty light.

I'll be a distraction. I can handle Ophiuchus too, but I'll be at a slight disadvantage if he messes with my Eyes. So, whichever side needs me more.

If Messenger is successful in taking the throne, I imagine that will come with a title change. He'll said he'd be able to handle the wishes for us.

I should also mention... to everyone. We have Trickster's keystone. And if his box is opened there is a good chance he'll be revived. He is a god of mischief and innovation. In the time before he would turn his attention to us, I believe he would be well suited as a diversion, if Flowers and Messenger can convince him.

I'm thinking everyone who volunteers can link into a mental gestalt to make channeling it easier. It's better than fighting over it, or one person trying alone.

After, generally, unless something goes dearly wrong. I actually do not hope to take it up as a losing battle, and the more distraction, chaos and disorder is going on, frankly, the weaker he is. Opposing elements, you saw it in action with Trickster, after all.

It does ME no particular good, beyond the obvious, but the one who benefited most from that met a rather explosive end just recently.
