...but I got him that upset. I mean, it was just one hit. I got him upset, it was because I couldn't see I was pushing too hard. It's not like it was a misunderstanding or a stupid reason. It was because I pried too much and made him mad because I didn't know to pull back.

If he kept punching, yeah, that'd have been bad and then I'd have fought back, but it was just one hit. [Shrugs.]

It's how you guys see kids! I don't need to be protected! I don't need to be coddled or anything like that!

I can take the bad things, I can take the hits. Even without using my powers, I'm not someone whose incapable. I survived back home when I couldn't use my powers, I did pretty well HERE before I figured out I had powers. I don't need him having some big guilt trip just because everyone thinks a kid needs to be treated more delicately!

Of course I would be!

But that's not a question of whether or not I think he was justified. That would be because I don't like seeing my teammates hurt. Period.

If he hit some other person I wasn't super protective of, if I understood the situation, I'd think they deserved it. Because people DO deserve to be hit sometimes. And I did too!

I don't want this to be a big deal because I'm a kid! If things weren't going WRONG with my creation, I would be nearly sixteen by now!

I don't want him to feel bad because of that. It's not RIGHT. I know I don't act like the age I should be, but that's because my first real exposure to people is HERE. But just because I'm two years younger than I should be, I've still got a lot of him. It's because of HIS mind that I got some things back home as fast as I did, why I could read, and everything.

I don't want people to feel bad because they think they did some horrible thing to me. Because he DIDN'T and I REFUSE to treat it like that. I don't care what the rest of you think. It's what I think. And if I was the one who was wronged, isn't what I think the most in this situation the one that matters?

He can apologize for hitting me, I can respect that, but I'm not accepting all this guilt tripping for him.
