[ the alarm raptor stops calling and runs for its still somewhat-dazed buddy, who tries to keep a steady footing--- and jumps, landing on its shoulders. And braces itself to....possibly make a leap for the brim of the fedora?!!? ]

[ speaking of delicately balanced, that stomping is getting louder. as in pebbles-around-start-clattering-with-every-stomp louder. ]
