It was the first of its kind, implemented just after the mutant education act. The university is open to humans and mutants of all races, creeds and religions, giving them an equal opportunity at higher education. Mutant U. is a co-ed, mutant/human university specializing in offering additional training for mutant powers alongside the curriculum for most common majors. The game allows canon and OC characters, humans and mutants, teachers, staff and students. The university is a microcosm that reflects some of the prejudices found in the outside world as well as those unique to college life. MU is a College Level AU X-Men game set in modern day Boston. It is meant to be a place where OCs may flourish, new stories can be written and those who have moved on to college may begin again. The school grounds, commonly referred to as Mutant U., house both a university as well as a training facility. The game is open to mutants and humans age 18+, canon and original characters are both welcome. The game hopes to combine the social aspects of life as a mutant and a university student with the dangers that come from living in a world where humans and mutants coexist, sometimes not-so-peacefully. Give A Little - A Hanson rp [04 Sep 2010|08:03am] The Shout It Out Tour has just ended and the guys are back home with their families for the next several months. Things are starting to fall back into place like they were before the tour started. Zac and Kate are taking care of Shepherd while also preparing for the birth of their second child who is due in just a few short months. Taylor and Natalie are busy with their four kids. Taylor wants to wait before thinking about having more, but Natalie isn't the waiting type. She wants another baby soon. Isaac and Nikki are enjoying life with their two little boys, but are talking about possibly trying for another baby, hoping for a girl this time around. The guys are heading back into the studio soon to start working on their next album. Tension seems to be building between the three, will this album be their breaking point? Once every month this black dog went around killing people’s pets. Five times this happens and no one can figure it out. The local news anchors won't say "wolf" for fear of sounding ridiculous. Witnesses simply described it as a large black dog. Finally, the police catch the thing after an alert neighbor gets the dog on camera. But the footage was never released and the only statement from the police was that this dog was “returned to its owner.” I got this friend and he’s a cop, right? So I ask him, what was the deal with that black dog? Musings [04 Sep 2010|09:41pm] Musings Musings has always existed, a world alongside our world. In Musings, people live the way we do, eat the same food we do, love the same way we do, and work the same minimum wage jobs we do. The differences? They all have their roots in fictional characters, and they are immortal. Though they are not the characters themselves, they carry in them the essences of characters from fiction. The sources that they spring from do not exist for them, but they are based on fiction we are familiar with all the same - though no one has ever read a Batman comic, there is a rich young man who uses his money to fight the forces of evil that destroyed his life. Though Moby Dick was never written, a sailor still stalks the bars of a town on the sea, watching, waiting. Now, a portal has opened between the world of Musings and the mortal world, and the Creations (as they call themselves) have begun crossing over in droves. Now, they have abilities that they did not have in their own world, abilities that they can choose to do with what they will. There is no great prescribed fate for these echoes of fiction, only the destinies they choose to weave for themselves - living and losing on the shores of a new world. From the Daily Prophet; 2025-08-22 A Day of Victory For He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named Last night was marked by a glorious event, greatly anticipated by all obedient citizens of the Wizarding World. Led by His Infinite Wisdom, two of He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named's loyal followers finally completed the crucial task necessary to crush the opposition and carry out the ultimate justice. Leader of the resistance and traitor to the Wizarding World, Harry Potter was killed during capture by Chief of Wizengamot Bellatrix Lestrange and Lilith Lestrange, wife of Mr. Rabastan Lestrange. The body of Mr. Potter will be available for public viewing in the atrium of the Ministry as proof of justice's supreme victory. Premise Harry Potter is dead - killed by Bellatrix Lestrange and his own daughter, now married to Rabastan Lestrange. The war, however, despite Voldemort's propaganda, is far from over. Hidden within the safety of Hogwarts, the Order of the Phoenix keeps resisting Voldemort and his Death Eaters. It's the third war, started by a spell no one understands... In the Summer of 2024, a pack of werewolves started terrorising the country, turning young children and brutally killing their parents. A month later the dead started returning to life. Voldemort was among the first to arrive. By spring 2025, Voldemort and the werewolves had joined forces; Hogwarts, Azkaban and Diagon Alley had been attacked, but Ministry and Order were still standing strong, forcing Voldemort to live in hiding. On June 18, 2025, everything changed! Voldemort launched an attack on the wizarding world, hitting King's Cross, the Hogwarts Express and the Ministry. While the forces of good spread out to protect the population, Voldemort took over the Ministry – and with it the Wizarding society. The Order and their allies fled to Hogwarts, where Headmaster Severus Snape shielded the school, making it impossible for Voldemort to gain entrance. From there, the Order launched its resistance. For the rest of the population, it’s comply or be killed, but under the surface, people are trying to find a way to manoeuvre outside the new laws and restrictions. In the meantime an unknown, yet undetected, spell is spreading amongst the Wizarding population, Death Eaters, Order and neutral alike.
