Welcome to Harmony. It’s a lovely place, clear blue skies and attractive buildings. It’s funny, but even though all you can remember is this place, it feels like you’ve never been here before.
Why does it feel that way? Well, probably because it’s true. Sssh, don’t tell; this is a giant experiment, one you can’t get out of. We care about you here in Harmony, and you’re very important to us. We hand picked you from your world, because there was just something about you. We know you will be helpful.
It’s important that you feel at home. Almost like you’re not in an experiment at all. So we’re going to give you a new set of family, friends, and memories. Because, don’t forget – we care about you. We want you to feel at home, seeing as from now on, this is your home.
|
So here’s the gist – your character was plucked from their world, and brought to this one. It’s unclear if it’s an alternate dimension or even a different planet. The place has similar atmosphere and appearances as Earth, but how would you ever know if it was or not? From there, something happened to their memory. It’s not clear how that happened, either. All you know is there is a little scar, on your neck, right below your hairline. Maybe you had it before. Or maybe, it has nothing to do with your memory. You have no idea.
After you were brought here, and your memory erased, a new one was implanted. Some got a new brother or sister, some got new friends, and some even got new spouses or fiancés. It’s weird, really. You feel like you know them so well, and at the same time, like you don’t know them at all. You have a job, and a place to live. You have a memory of going to school at Harmony High, and parents that have died peacefully. You remember every aspect of this place, because after all, you’ve lived here since you were born.
In addition to all that, from time to time, you’ll get a call from the Doctor’s office. You’ll come in, they’ll give you a supposedly harmless shot, and you’ll be on your way. Strange thing is you’ll start to feel really different after you get that shot.
Is it the shot? Or is it something inside you?
Welcome to Harmony, a brand new AU Panfandom RPG. We're so happy to have you here. |

“The Road goes ever on and on down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, and I must follow, if I can, pursuing it with eager feet, until it joins some larger way where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say.” –J.R.R. Tolkien
Halloween, 1981, the Dark Lord Voldemort fell at the hands of one-year old Harry Potter, bringing an end to a decade long reign of terror, to the relief of the entire Wizarding World. Death Eaters were imprisoned, wounds healed, and the Wizarding World spent the next decade healing from the pain of the first war. Yet, Voldemort was not truly defeated that night. He will rise once more, bringing upon another vicious war upon the Wizarding World.
Everyone knows the story of James and Lily Potter and the story of their son, Harry, but until now, the story of what happened in between has been unknown.
It is 1990, the year before Harry Potter will discover he is a Wizard. Professor Quirrell is off to Albania where he will become a vessel for the weakened Dark Lord, Charlie Weasley and his friends are in their seventh-year at Hogwarts, learning all about love, life, and Quidditch, and the foundation for the future is being paved.
Everyone stands at a crossroads, the road behind them broken and wilting. The road ahead holds a mystery. Which paths in life will they chose? Who will they become? Only one thing is certain; they must choose.

Amnesty: A HP RPG |
[30 Aug 2009|12:38pm] |
My name is Arabella Figg, a Squib and a Member of the Order of the Phoenix. When I went to bed on May 1st it was 1980 and I was in my Notting Hill flat. When I woke on May 2nd, I was in cookie-cutter suburbia 2001 surrounded by the trappings of a life I had never lived. Now I am lost in a Reality so very different from my own. There are others here like me from many realities, many worlds. Nothing and no one is how I remember them. I do not know if I can ever go home. I don't know if I can live in this place. Can anyone from home hear me?
The Wizarding World in Amnesty is a place existing under an uneasy truce between Voldemort's Death Eaters and The Ministry of Magic. This fragile peace has held since May 2, 1998 when Voldemort conceded the field to Harry Potter to protect his precious immortality. On May 2, 2001, an event of unknown cosmic origins caused the walls between this reality and every other reality to flicker. As the next day dawned, people awoke to find themselves not where or even when they went to bed and struggling to understand what had happened.
Amnesty is accepting characters from defunct or current HP-RPGs along with characters specifically created for Amnesty. Any canon HP character from any point in time is welcome. Amnesty is an easy going, player driven game. We've been active since May and are looking forward to any and all newcomers
Amnesty: Characters Welcome! Most especially we’re looking for: Weasleys, Hermione Granger, Death Eaters, Order Members, and any old classmates of the Golden Trio. All questions can be directed to amnesty.mods@gmail.com

[30 Aug 2009|09:41pm] |

London, England The 19th Century
By order of the crown, 1891 sees the activation of a covert organisation accountable to the monarch. Formed in response to occult aspects of the Whitechapel murders, 'Royal Inquisitors' are tasked with elimination of supernatural threats to the interests of the British Empire. These crusading guardians are vested with the authority to root out occult elements that could corrupt society. Regarded with respect and fear by the few who know of them, they are a highly secretive order, dedicated to upholding civilisation against dark, primordial forces.
Unlike knights of old, they have access to the most radical technological advances of the era. Down the centuries, champions of light and dark have always waged war. Now, demons, vampires, witches, werewolves dhampir, ghosts of the damned and more find themselves on the same side, drawn together against an enemy using steam, iron and electricity.

the beauty, the wealth, the intrigue... |
[30 Aug 2009|11:12pm] |

The prince, young, spoiled, and much indulged sits poised to inherit the throne of Frell as he was born to do, prevented only by the will of the Queen Regent, his mother, still mourning the death of her husband, the much-loved King. She gives one reason after another to detain the coronation of her son, who she fears will ruin the kingdom, but how long can she keep him from what is rightfully his?
The nobility is far from oblivious to the plight of the royal family, of course, and everyone has their own vision of what should come to pass. Families of stature are bringing their daughters to court, hoping to have them chosen to be ladies in waiting to the Queen, hoping one will catch the eye of the prince or someone else of wealth and influence. Lords, sensing the impending change in power, hope to befriend the right people or plot to bring their families the status and fortune of the favorites to the crown.
Even servants play their part and everyone has spies. Who can be trusted in this court of intrigue, when motives are far from pure and ambitions on the rise?
I'm looking to create a royal court, a court full of intrigue and ambition inspired by the Tudor court of King Henry VIII, a court on the brink of change, where no one is sure who will emerge victorious. Interested?
Fair is a game inspired by the world created by Gail Carson Levine, though no prior knowledge is required to join! We're active and friendly, very welcoming to new players. Game information can be found at enchantedmod.
